Arrived in Queenstown

It was a beautiful view on the flight down to Queensland from Auckland today, and we even got an extra scenic tour when the aircraft had a missed approach! (Nothing dramatic, just too much tail wind).
Queenstown is situated in absolutely stunning surroundings! I'm stunned! The high mountains, the Lake Wakatipu; the clear air, aaaahh!

It's the first time in the South Island for the kids and I, and Nathan hasn't been back for many, many years either. We are really looking forward to exploring and experiencing new things and amazing adventures.

We are busy reading the tourist brochures from cover to cover trying to fill the next few days with fun things for all of us.
So far we have penned down the Luge, the Skyline Gondola and dining at Walter Peak, a boat trip on the 'Earnslow', the old steamship; a scenic flight to - and cruise on the fiord by - Milford Sound, a visit to Puzzling World, a day in Arrowtown, wine tour in Gibbston, a hike through the "gold country" and much much more!
Bring it on!
