I'm liking the exchange rate at the moment, the NZ dollar is really low, SG$10=NZ$14.60. At least compared to when we were here in March (SG$10=NZ$8,30). We have already been crossing out quite a few items that were on the shopping list, and there is more to cover yet.
It's been a while since I have actually been needing to do some shopping, so I'm enjoying it!
Weather is a bit dull and cold, which normally wouldn't matter at all - I like the fresh air and the soft rain. But, I hadn't packed any other long trousers for me or the kids, than the "airplane-clothes", so... lucky the dollar is low!
