Pelle Svanslös

Mormor had planned to take the kids into town while I was in Stockholm, and see the yearly summer theater; but Lucas wanted to wait until I was back too.
So this afternoon, in the absolutely glorious weather, we went all together to see "Pelle Svanslös", performed by "Charlies Teater".

It's a story about a cat who got his tail bit off by a rat when he was a baby, and his adventures when he moves to the city after having grown up on a farm. The stories about Pelle Svanslös were written by Gösta Knutsson and many, many generations of Swedish children have grown up with these very familiar tales.

Here's the major adversary, the mean cat Måns and his constant followers, Bill & Bull:

Pelle is in love with the cute and fluffy 'Maja Gräddnos':

The kids really enjoyed this lovely piece and in parts it was very funny too:

After the show the kids could mingle with the cats, and there was free face painting, so of course Linnea was right there...
