Croquet on the lawn

One of the things that IS summer to me, is being barefoot in the grass. The grass in Sweden is so different to the grass in our garden in Brunei, this grass is actually as soft as a rug and I love burying my toes into it.

Today has been an absolutely fantastic summers day and this afternoon we just wanted to stay outside for as long as possible.
We took out my old croquet game and had a couple of matches on the lawn.













Not only do I love playing games, both board games and outside games; but it's a good way learning some important life lessons - like life isn't fair! :) Sometimes games are about luck, less often about skill. Sometimes a bit of both. (Lucas is a very sore looser, and an even worse winner...)
