Braving the masses

Mormor and Morfar very nicely offered to drive us down to Denmark for our long weekend. We took off a day early and did a stop on the way - at Ullared!

Ullared is the biggest supermarket in Scandinavia, it has over 4,5 million visitors a year, 62 check-out counters; and sells everything from baby stuff, toys, toiletries and food to home decoration items, technical gadgets, clothes and much, much more.

Yes, call us crazy braving the masses and this HUGE supermarket, with our two not-so-shopping-happy kids, but they had been bribed with a promise to get to buy a toy and we kept them (mostly) contained in a trolley!
A different kind of treasure map:

It's really important to keep track of your trolley. In some places where there are too many people, like around the women's department, it's better to park it somewhere and walk about. Luckily all the trolleys have their own personal identification number:

We "only" spent about 2 1/2 hours there, and even though I didn't need anything, I came out with "stuff" for about $250 (1300SEK). A little bit of this, and a little bit of that!

I guess that's what happens in a place like Ullared. :)
