Pilutta dej!

Sunday morning, we did the longest bike ride the kids have ever done. We were going to meet my cousin for 'fika' at a place I wasn't 100% sure where it was, so we rode a bit too far before I recognized myself. Then it was closed, bummer, so we had to ride back home here, where they had ended up. Not sure how far it was, but it took us 1h20 minutes all together...

In the afternoon we went to see a play with Charlie's Teater, a local theater group who has performed a summer show on an outdoor stage at Båtsmanshuset here in Skara, every year for the last five years. It's become a bit of a tradition for us too, we've seen three of their previous performances: Bella & Gustav, Pelle Svanslös & Ture Sventon.

This year it was all about Madicken - based on a well known Astrid Lindgren character.

It was really popular and as we hadn't booked tickets, we were lucky to get the very last seats!

The kids enjoyed it although they didn't quite remember all the stories. It's been a while we've been watching Madicken back home. But it's such a lovely thing to do, especially on a beautiful summer afternoon like this.
