St Andrews Cathedral

We also went to have a look at the 12-century St Andrews Cathedral, once the largest cathedral in Scotland. There is not much left of it unfortunately since they pillaged it for it's stones which were used to build the town.
You can easily imagine how big it would've been though, just by walking through the ruins.

One of the towers is said to be haunted by "The White lady" - but we couldn't see her...

And on the outside of the cathedral, you had a good view along the coast to the St Andrews castle:

We found a bag piper here too!
