It doesn't happen very often, but every now and then the monkeys come down the jungle at the back of our house. They've never made it actually over the gravel road and into our garden, they just sit in the trees and make noise. I'm not sure if they are being aggressive towards the dogs, or just maybe communicate within the troupe - but they are loud!
Have you ever heard this kind of monkeys when they "talk" to each other?! They sound like giant birds actually! It's a very funny sound - like a loud purr combined with a cracking sound.
I managed to get two not so very good photos today from the office window, when they were on their way back into the jungle again:
