Who are you?

I might have wondered this before, but certainly without any great respons, which is quite normal. Most people read blogs without leaving comments, I must admit so do I but I try to get better. It's always nice to see someone has left a little greeting, so I will try again:
Who are you all who read my blog??

I can see in my visitors statistics that you are quite a big group every day, and from all over the place. There are readers in countries I definitely don't know anyone personally, such different places as Alaska, Japan and Equador etc.
It's really fascinating!

Who are you all..?

Alaska would be me when I am out and about. You will have seen me from Chennai the other day and will no doubt see Mumbai in the next couple of days. Sorry to not be any more exciting than lil old me.

I'm a physician from Philadelphia, USA and found your blog when doing a google search to learn more about Brunei. I love reading about your life as an expat family.

Having just got back from our visit to the 'A Story of the Image - Old and New Masters From Antwerp' at the Singapore Museum the activity guide had a very pertinent comment in it.

"The dramatisation of banality is for some contemporary artists a way of highlighting images, events and experiences for which we have taken for granted and for which we have been desensitised to in our daily urban existence. Do you think mundane matters are worthy of our attention? Consider the many mundane details of some blogs today (what did you do today, who did you meet and what did you have for lunch.......?). Would you consider blogging about your everyday life today worthy of other people's attention? What does it say about our lives today in this urban world?"

Not saying that your blog is mundane but it begs the question, is this one of your expressions as an artist?

I'm Anna and you already know me. I'm swedish, married to a French and live in France since 1999. We have two children. I think my mum reads you too but your blog unrolls itself, page after page, so she quit after that. Really weird. I tested it on her computer when i was up in Sweden this summer.

Hi there! Stumbled upon your blog by chance and wondered why you look so familiar. Then realised that I've met you before when you gave the talk on Scrapbooking for BCL some time back. Getting hooked on reading your blog :)

the rest is history i should say, and yes, i do enjoy reading your expat life in brunei too.. most of the time i think it's amusing how u guys seem to be 'out-of-place' in brunei. no offence, but, amusing all the same.

Thank You everybody for leaving a little "foot print" behind! Very much appreciated, even though I recognize and know most of you! :)

Jason - Yes for sure, artistic expression! One of many!

Rojuken - yes, ha ha, I guess us expats live in our own little "bubble" most of the time!

Hi Watson Family, we are an American family living in Madagascar. We just found out that we will be moving to Brunei this coming summer. We also have 2 children and we are desperately looking for any information we can find about Brunei. We were so pleased to find your blog. Your blog is great and thank you so much, it is such a relief to find that you are having such a nice family life there! It is always scary to move to a new place and not know much about it. We move about every 2 years. It is so helpful to find out as much as we can before we get there. Thanks, Laura

I'm Swedish but I've lived in the U.S. for about half my life now. I found your blog through larssonsflyttar and I found that blog through jacalica. I love reading about your life and some aspects are familiar to me as I went to an international school in Switzerland for a couple of years as a teenager.
