Traveling by water

Stockholms location between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea means that it's waterways plays an important role in city life. Stockholm is actually built on 14 islands, and the everywhere water presence in Stockholm is one of the things that makes our capital so special and beautiful.

Linnea was very keen on a doing a boat trip ever since we mentioned it could be an option to visit Stockholm by boat.
In the end, we didn't quite have the time to spend sailing around Stockholm on some guided tour, but - we did take the 'Djurgårdsfärjan' on Saturday morning, to get to our first stop of the day, The Vasa Museum.
She was pretty happy with that, and even though it was a very short trip, we enjoyed the lovely view it gave us over the Stockholm waterfront!
