Crayfish, NZ style

In Sweden it's tradition to do crayfish parties in August, and a few years ago we happened to be home just at the right time, so Mum organized one with her family.
I remember Nathan giggling at the size of our crayfish, and even taking special photos of it, but didn't quite get back then what was the issue.
I do now.

We had four of these for entrée last night together with some oysters... mmm!












(I had no idea crayfish could grow this big, there must be different kinds?)
