Day of the tulip

On the weekend it was apparently "Tulpanens Dag" in Sweden (=The day of the tulip). I read on this homepage, that us Swedes are the "world champions" in buying tulips, we buy a whopping 130 million tulips a year! Oaw!

Of course, these are fake, there are no tulips in Brunei. Still, they look lovely and makes me happy every time I pass them. There is nothing quite as fresh after the exuberant and lavish Christmas season, as crisp, white tulips to decorate your home.
